Lush.

Today I had a delivery of a few Lush products I ordered online via their website.
I ordered:
(3) Pow Wow Lip Scrub £4.75
(1) Snow Fairy Shower Gel £3.25
(2) Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly £2.95
(1) Merry Xmas | Retro Massage Bar £4.95

The first thing I tried was the Pow Wow Lip Scrub. I'd see a few reviews for this, so I was pretty keen to test it out for myself. This product contains popping candy which acts as the exfoliant to remove any dead skin from your lips. The combination does sound rather strange but I can assure you it is a fantastic product.

It's left my lips feeling really smooth. It boasts some really good quality ingredients such as Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil and Ginseng Root Powder. was slightly hesitant after reading the directions, which suggested applying the scrub and then licking off, after all, as stated before, it's dead skin. Try to resist, it's completely impossible. This product will definitely be my winter rescue to combat Air con, lip licking and winter itself.


Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly

If not not for the smell alone this product is worth a buy. It smells utterly divine. It is fairly tricky to use, ie to create a lather with it. I found that warming some up in your hands and vigorously rubbing does he trick. It has left my skin feeling silky smooth and smelling glorious. I wouldn't recommend this product for your daily showering routine due to it being pretty fiddly to lather, but it definitely won't stop you using it again. perhaps with a little bit more use it will become easier.

For now these are the only prducts I have tested. I'll update the blog as and when i've tried the others.

Introduction.

As an *embarrassingly* overly keen Youtuber and blog reader, I decided to give this whole thing a go.

What I had generally tended to notice was that the majority of vlogs don't really tend to mention 'high street' make up brands, but mainly stick with the top end, like MAC, Benefit ect.

Generally, products that are mentioned are virtually impossible to track down, or are confusingly, sold in dollars, euros and yen. Not ideal.

The make up brands I am interested in are the ones that are readily available, and don't tend to cost me £450.00 per hundred grams. If you like me share this passion, then you may find my semi-sensical ramblings of at least some use.

This isn't to say that everything i'll be mentioning will be entirely
beauty related or dirt cheap, if there is something incredible to the beauty world that is entirely unmissible, I shan't run around with my eyes closed and my fingers in my ears ignoring it.
